Orient Express Corinthian brings the atmosphere of grand railway travel to a sailing yacht. Built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire and named there in April 2026, the 220-metre vessel pairs three towering masts with 54 suites. Its scale allows generous interiors, while the sea becomes part of the room through broad windows and terraces.
Architect Maxime d’Angeac carries the brand’s decorative heritage aboard through polished timber, marble, soft upholstery and careful lighting. The supplied images show curved lounges and quiet bedrooms alongside the yacht’s striking silhouette. Detailed interiors are framed by a landscape that keeps changing.
Corinthian uses the shipyard’s SolidSail system: three rigid sails that rotate and tilt as conditions require. Wind can provide full propulsion in suitable weather, while mechanical propulsion serves other conditions. Sailing is therefore part of the experience, rather than a promise that every voyage runs on wind alone. The masts give the yacht its distinctive profile from a distance.
The culinary programme is led by Yannick Alléno, with restaurants and private dining spaces giving evenings their own rhythm. A library, cinema, cabaret, Guerlain spa and marina offer other ways to spend the day. Together, they make life aboard more varied than the familiar sequence of a suite and a sun deck.
The inaugural programme combines Mediterranean and Adriatic voyages with a Caribbean winter season. Routes, dates and inclusions depend on the sailing chosen. Across those settings, the appeal stays consistent: a carefully furnished room, time on the water and a new view beyond the window each morning.
Exterior and interior imagery includes design visualisations.
