St Barth

A small island, with many different shores.

St Barth brings a varied Caribbean landscape into just 24 square kilometres: rocky hills, white-sand bays, small neighbourhoods and protected coastal waters. Its appeal changes from beach to beach, with lively Saint-Jean offering a different rhythm from the quieter sands of Saline or Gouverneur.

The island’s identity also lives beyond the shore. Gustavia preserves traces of its Swedish past in historic buildings, while traditional houses, local craft and maritime life remain part of the landscape. Restaurants and boutiques share the island with walking trails and natural reserves.

The quieter coastline

Colombier is reached by boat or by footpaths from Petite Anse and Colombier, making the journey part of the experience. Grand Cul-de-Sac offers a shallow lagoon, while the marine reserve protects several bays and nearby islets. Each brings another perspective on the same compact island.
